The life-changing
90-DAYS DIET

I have been recently following the 90-days diet. I started in mid-August and so far, I am very satisfied with the results.

How it works?
This diet has been developed by American sport doctors. It has no side effects and it's also recommended by natural therapists! The result is a loss of 8-20kilogramms in 90 days, and it also cures high blood pressure.

This slimming cure, besides getting rid of the extra kilos also changes the functioning of your organism. This can guarantee that the lost kilos won't come back after finishing the diet. The cure lasts 90 days. During this you can lose 8-20 kilograms, depending on your start weight.   

BREAKFAST is the same every day: some fruits (two apples or pears, peaches or a handful of strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries etc.). And frequently my choice is FRESH JUICE! Please, make sure you don't miss your breakfast. It waken-ups your metabolism to start burning fat!

During the diet, rotate protein-, starch-, carbohydrate- and fruit-days rotate. DINNER  is before 7 pm. every day.
The order mustn't be changed!

 

Day 1: Protein-day

LUNCH: boiled or roasted meet- 3 small slices
(Instead of meet you can eat 3 eggs, fried or boiled, or maybe cheese.)
A slice of bread, salad in unlimited measure, without oil, or salt.
You're allowed to eat cheese and drink milk only on this day. A cup of MILK is considered 1 meal.
DINNER: the same like lunch, but half, and without the bread. Be careful to eat exactly what you've eaten for lunch!

Day 2: Starch-day

LUNCH: Any kind of vegetables (beans, peas, french beans, carrots, potatoes etc.). The vegetables must be boiled, or raw. Culinary herbs, condiments, salt, ketchup or tomato sauce can be used as well. Make sure no sugar in the ketchup!
A slice of bread, salad with condiments added to taste.
DINNER: the same as lunch, in smaller amount, recommended dose is half the lunch.

Day 3: Carbohydrate-day

LUNCH: Boiled pastry with condiments. This can be veggie pizza with ketchup( no cheese, no sugar), spaghetti with sauce or any other salty cookies (as much as a portion of pizza)
DINNER: two smaller slices of cake, muffin,  maybe some ice cream and an obligatory dark chocolate bar (20 gr).

Day 4: Fruit-day

LUNCH: any kind of fruit in unlimited measure.
DINNER: any kind of fruit in unlimited measure.
Or: Drink Fresh squeezed juice all day! What a vitamin feast! 
Other useful information:
During the diet once in a month, every 29th day, you have to keep a water-day. This comes after a fruit-day and you'll have to continue then with the protein-day.
Coffee and tea can be consumed in unlimited measure, without sugar and milk of course.
After finishing the diet you can eat normally, with the condition that for breakfast you continue to eat only fruits for another 90 day long period. You can choose food from Day 1,2 or 3, but don't mix proteins, starch and crabs in one meal. If you decide to have protein lunch, then dinner could be at your choice, but again, please do not mix the food groups. 
This weight loss program might sound a bit complicated, but it's not at all!
Nothing should be left out from the diet, all sorts of foods have their own rules and are necessary for the organism.
It might sound quite strange and unusual to eat fruits for breakfast, but it's very beneficial because the body uses the integral sugar in them first, what feeds the nervous system.
 Those who suffer from high blood pressure, can skip their medicines after a few weeks of dieting, with the approval of their doctors of course.

DAY 5 - UPDATE

Well, I didn't post when I started last Saturday, as it was busy busy weekend.
Today is Day 5, the headache is over, just hunger is over, just dealing with some minor issues, number one being the outside temperature (43C) and the humidity ...
Today I had no time to prepare my morning juice so I run to Sobeys and got 1L of fresh squeezed orange juice for $5.99. They keep it in rack with ice ...
It is hard to report on the weightloss due to the fact that I drink so much water these days due to the hot weather ... Will let you know when I am done. 
My last day of juicing for this month will be Friday, July 19.

SIDE EFFECTS OF JUICE DETOX?
NO, ACTUALLY SYMPTOMS OF DETOX AND HEALING



Here is a list of some side effects you can expect during your juice detox:

  • Headache 
  • Rash, eczema or acne                                                   
  • Weakness, mild nausea, dizziness
  • Fever, muscle cramps, tiredness
  • Bad breath
  • Stuffed or runny nose


Sounds like flu? It is the actual real detox. As the toxins leave your body they make you feel sick. You liver, colon, lungs, kidneys, skin – they all stored toxins for years and now they are getting rid of them, but is it that easy? No. Here is how it happens.
First, they have to get back to the blood circulation, as they have been fixed to your organs for years. So they circulate in your blood trying to find a way to get out. Once they pass through you head – Oh my God! What a headache! If they try to escape through your skin, you get rash acne, eczema... If they take their way our through your colon, well stay at home, you expect some not very pleasant washroom calls. Your lungs? – expect asthma. Kidneys? – some mild pain whet urinate... It become very graphic so let’s talk about how to deal with it.
Every 10-14 days after the beginning of your detox, sometimes earlier, you can expect some discomfort. Here is what you can do to make yourself feel better:

Wait for the crisis to be over, it won’t last long
  • ·        Breath and practice yoga, use humidifier if your symptoms affect your lungs and breathing
  • ·        Drink sugar free herbal tea
  • ·        Take a bath and scrub your skin, wear comfortable cotton clothing
  • ·        Use the steam room, combined with cooler showers, and back to the steam room again
  • ·        Water, Water, Water
  • ·        Call your RMT. Tell them what you feel. They should be able to help you with the toxins way out.
  • ·        Swim, walk, jump rope, bike. Jumping is great to help your lymph system move the toxins out. Find a trampoline place and enjoy a good 30 min. of jumping

Contrary to popular belief, bread is actually good for us -
and nutritionists recommend we should all be eating more of it.
Admittedly some types of bread are better than others, but even white sliced has a lot to offer.

Bread is not good before, during and after juice detox.
Let's save it's life and hope next time it will smile to us.

Liver Detox

Our Liver is the major body detoxificator. During juice fast, it gathers and filtrates all the toxins, coming in from other body organs, and meanwhile releases its own toxins. Luckily, during this same period the liver is not busy to deal with the toxins coming in from new food.
Another organ, linked to the liver is the gallbladder. It should be stimulated to detox, as well, by adding 1 teaspoon of olive oil to a lemon juice.
As part of the detox liver program, your liver will appreciate a hot pack to stimulate the blood circulation. What else is good for your liver?

Juice Detox starting soon!

It's been a long and tough winter here in Toronto ON. It was cold, wet, windy, cloudy, miserable .... Several things happened as well - some physical, majority emotional, and  I feel the stress is paralyzing me. 

MY BODY IS BEGGING ME FOR A CHANGE


I am starting the Juice Fasting and Cleansing Program shortly. I will keep you posted daily with all ups and downs. 

Step 1 - prepare my body for the cleanse.
Preparation:
  • Start taking cleansing tea in the evening - all 3 days
  • Fruit juice in the morning - all 3 days
  • Light lunch - all 3 days
  • Dinner Day 1 - veggie soup with salad
  • Dinner Day 2 - salad and veggie juice
  • Dinner day 3 - veggie juice
Alternatively, a mono-diet will work as well as the proposed program. One or two days on grapes diet will be highly detoxicating,  but can also be replaced by cantaloupe, apples, or citrus fruits. Lettuce is also a marvelous beginning. 

Or, you can just skip your dinner, but make sure you didn't have a double hamburger for lunch.
